This report covers the highlights from the 2024 Paris Retromobile show, including major anniversaries and the vibrant classic vehicle event La Traversée de Paris.

The Paris Retromobile, held from 5-9 February at the Paris Expo, was really buzzing this year, with standout celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the DS. The event brought together 12 models and revived the famous DS Ballons.

A two-day auction was held on-site, while hugely impressive stands were created by Fiskens, Girardo, Kidston, and more. This year saw a greater motorcycle presence, including the collection of Éric de Seynes. There were displays of French F1 cars from the 1960s to today, along with inventions of Adolphe Kégresse, known for his semitracked vehicles.

On 12 January, the biannual Traversée de Paris saw vehicles aged over 30 travel across the heart of the French capital. The 25th running of the event was brilliantly organised by Vincennes en Anciennes, a leading multi-marque club. La Traversée follows a 30km route, leaving Château de Vincennes, and included many tractors, with participants pausing en route to enjoy the atmosphere.
